Most consumer file sharing tools lack the ability to give full audit reporting, allow you to choose where your data is and know where it is (not just in the cloud somewhere). Why would you share files if you didn’t know where they actually were? Consumer file sharing have also been more vulnerable to hacking in the past. You cant put a price on security.

Secure file sharing as it says pretty much only deals with documents and these tend to be for large sets of data or short term sharing. Client portals are for longer transactions and sharing data that is far more than just documents, such as project management, financial information and data intake.
