Digital Binder- How to Edit Your Documents from Digital Binder

One of the great things about Digital Binder is the ease of access to edit your documents from Digital Binder. With a lot of document storage and display applications it converts your files to one format. Which means it is really just a way to compile your documents together, rather than creating an efficient way to store documents, search, edit and annotate.

Open up Digital Binder, select the binder with the document you want to edit, you can do this by selecting it from the Table of Contents.

Or if you are trying to find an exact piece of data use the Search Tool.

Type in what you are looking for into the search bar, the term will be highlighted everywhere it is used in the binder. You can use the arrows to navigate through the highlighted terms in your binder to find what you are looking for.

Right Click on the document you want to edit and click Edit.

The original document will open in its application, where you can Edit and Save your changes.

To update the document in your binder, Right Click > Update.

Or from the top menu select Binder > Check for Document Updates.

A list of all your documents in your binder will appear and there will be a refresh sign next to those that have had changes and need updating.

Right Click the document in the list that needs updating, and click Update.

A warning window will pop up, if you are happy to proceed click Yes.

Your document will update with any changes.
